How does Strive Tutors align tuition with the UK national curriculum?
All of our tutors are qualified experienced school teachers who are carefully selected for their subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK curriculum across Key Stages 1 to 5. We tailor lessons to your school’s syllabus and exam requirements to ensure relevance and effectiveness. Most of our tutors are also examiners with the UK’s leading exam boards so really know what is required and how to teach it.
Can you support students eligible for Pupil Premium and the National Tutoring Programme?
Yes. We specialise in delivering tuition that maximises the impact of Pupil Premium and NTP funding, helping schools target students most in need of academic support. We can also work within EHCP budgets for those with SEN as well as Local Authority budgets for Looked After children.
Are your tutors DBS checked and trained?
Absolutely. Every tutor undergoes a DBS check and receives ongoing training to maintain high safeguarding and teaching standards.
Do you offer both in-person and online tutoring?
Yes. We provide flexible tutoring options to suit your school’s preferences and scheduling, whether on-site or through secure online platforms.
How do you track and report student progress?
We provide progress reports after each and every lesson, as well as qualitative feedback and measurable outcomes, so schools can monitor the effectiveness of the tuition programme. We work with parents, classroom teachers, SENDCOs and Teaching and Learning heads to engage all stakeholders effectively in students’ progress.
How quickly can you start a tutoring programme?
We aim to begin delivery within 1-2 weeks after initial consultation, depending on your school’s needs and scheduling preferences.
What subjects do you cover?
We cover a full range of subjects for students in Years 1-13 inclusive, including Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages as well as exam preparation for GCSEs, A Levels, and beyond.
